I with somewhat of luck purchased this for my 6 1/2 year old even if it says ages 7-14. He can punch out the pieces nice and even fold lots of the right strains, but there are NO tabs anywhere to carry the robotics together.

The instructions say to use glue for the 20+ folded joints to hold it. For a 6yr old, that is a number of complex gluing and a number of waiting for factors to dry prior to doing your next step.

He almost certainly wouldn't be ready to play with them very long either for the reason that paper is just a bit of heavier than resume paper, now not boxboard like. He has them on display anyway.

On the plus facet, they are very cool bathroom toiletking! My son was very excited and satisfied to construct them. They also have a very few jointed moving pieces.

Much higher for an older more patient kid who could be mild with it.

I love paper robotics! It's simply fun to turn a sheet of colourful paper right into a three-d toy. What I like most about this "Urban Robots" package is that it's introduced in the way in which I would want my own paper toys to be sold - enjoyable personas, exact construction, and thick paper! These die-cut patterns are top of the range by way of my same outdateds. They are enjoyable to play with too -- each robot has a distinct mechanical feature:

- "Biclo" can sit down snugly within his bike seat or may also be eliminated.
- "Polok" has a panel that slides up and down.
- "CMJN" has a head that rotates and extends!
- "Boombox" and "Twitter" have hellodden, slide out speakers!

The motion operates are sturdy and don't bathroom loosen with regular use, brilliant! These paper robotics are great for display or gentle play.

Look for "Hip Hop Tanaka", some other DJECO paper toy equipment that contains designs with the aid of the world-famous paper toy clothier, Shin Tanaka.
