My 6 1/2 yo son has a lot of enjoyable setting up and re-constructing totally different race tracks with this expansion pack. The track isn't difficult to suit collectively. It would be nice to have more observe pieces to allow extra creativity.
We got this together with the "Chain Chomp" MarioKart track set (bought locally) that included a motorized cart (battery-powered). We also acquired the pull-back propelled carts one after the other. The battery-powered carts are *much* more enjoyable - I don't think the pull-back carts were intended for use on this track as they in point of fact do no longer have the ability to make it around the curves.
Ideally, we'd have preferred to completely skip shopping for the specialized monitor set in choose of procuring for 2 expansion packs (our specialised set integrated little or no observe, and the track is what's enjoyable), however sadly I haven't discovered the battery-powered carts offered one after the other.

I purchased this set along with 2 different sets for my son for Christmas. I'm so glad I made up our minds to buy this one for the rationale that different units don't include so much track.

I used to be in level of fact delighted to peer the popular video game come to lifestyles with these K'nex units. I assume they're somewhat too expensive and the instructions leave so a lot to be preferred, however I suppose they're fun and look nice.
